The couples therapy program provides private sessions to each couple who wants to learn to better their relationship.
The program focuses on the couple's goals, such as developing a plan for communication, finding better ways to work though problems, and having better sex.
Couples interested in premarital counseling are also welcome.
The program focuses on all couples, including straight, gay, lesbian, and those who have open relationships.
1.5 or 2 hour sessions (because the 45 minute is often not enough!) are available.

Co-Therapy with Buck Black, LCSW, LCAC and Ann Daniel, MS, LMFT is often a helpful couples therapy modality.
What is co-therapy?
Co-therapy is a model of therapy that can be used with couples and families. It involves the same two therapists working together with a couple/family each session until the presenting issues are resolved.
What makes co-therapy different?
Some clients might feel more comfortable with a therapist of each gender present that is able to relate to their specific concerns which might eliminate any feelings of isolation commonly found in couples therapy.
Ann and Buck are able to successfully model healthy patterns of communication and relating for their clients.
Ann and Buck working together have more combined experience and may be more able to productively manage and conceptualize the complex dynamics that are often present in couple/family issues. This can increase the effectiveness of therapy and produce rapid and more positive therapeutic results.
There is more freedom in structure of therapy from session to session. If needed, we are able to do individual sessions from time to time and rejoin as a group of four to continue to work on the couple/family issues.
